Faux Over Leather: A Personal Position on Modern Fashion

I absolutely do not support real leather or any materials made from animals. I’m always in favor of faux alternatives — every time.I wish I could say I live a fully vegetarian or even vegan lifestyle😁, but unfortunately I can’t, because with my histamine intolerance I’m unable to eat most processed or plant-based substitutes. Still, I genuinely support the movement toward stopping the killing of animals for human needs.I truly hope that in the future we’ll have more and better alternatives. We can’t change the structure of nature — the whole chain of life is built on consumption, and something about it feels fundamentally wrong to me. But without going too philosophical, here’s the point:I support a world where we no longer use animal-based materials.And ideally, we can stay stylish and beautiful without wearing something that once had to die for it.
