Oeschinensee — alpine hiking and raw Swiss landscapes

Oeschinensee is one of Switzerland’s most powerful alpine landscapes.

You reach it easily by train to Kandersteg, then a cable car up to Oeschinen. From there, it’s a 30–60 minute hike to the lake, depending on the route you choose.

The trails are scenic and well-marked, with dramatic mountain views all the way. You can keep it relaxed with a lakeside walk or go further into alpine hiking routes.

Best visited late spring to summer, when the colors are intense and the weather is stable.

Raw, quiet, and deeply Swiss ⛰️💙
