On Mentalities — Culture, Migration and Identity

I have been thinking about mentalities lately. Not politically. Not academically. Just humanly.

In my experience, different cultures carry different mental patterns. None of them are inherently better or worse — they are simply different. In some cultures, words carry strong weight. A promise is an obligation. In others, communication is fluid, expressive, and open. Discussion does not always equal commitment.

Migration adds another layer. When people move — whether by choice or necessity — they enter a system of laws, expectations, and unwritten social codes. Respecting the laws of a country is essential. But mentality does not change overnight.

Understanding these differences is not about division. It is about awareness. Because diversity in mentality is not a weakness — it is part of what makes humanity complex and powerful.
